FROM BISHOP GILMORE:  You are in our prayer.  You are in our thoughts.  You are in our hearts.  We feel weak.  We feel powerless.  We feel so inadequate.  We want to help.  We want to be there for you.  We want to be with you.  May the Lord for whom nothing is impossible hold us together and provide strength and comfort.  God bless you and keep you.

FROM FATHER LE BLANC:  It was so good to visit with a number of you Sunday in the shelters.  I am at a loss as we look at what needs to done now and what needs to be done in the future.  God bless us and keep us together even as we are scattered about.

SAINT JOSEPH CHURCH… seems to have been one of the structures devastated by Friday night’s tornado.  By most accounts it was destroyed.

FIRST COMMUNION… was scheduled to be this coming Sunday, May 13th.  We have postponed that important parish celebration until we can see our way through the present confusion. Please keep checking back to our parish bulletin for further developments.

WHERE ARE YOU?  We want to keep in touch even as we are scattered to the four winds.  Please email to pater@cox.net , or phone 620-672-6352, or fax to 620-672-3748, or drop a note to Father Gregory at 332 North Oak Street, Pratt, KS 67124 and let us know where you are and an email address, phone number, address where we can contact you.  We hope to be able to publish a Parish Directory very soon that tells us where everyone is.

FATHER LE BLANC IS GRATEFUL… that he has been able to locate the vast majority of Greensburg Parishioners.  Thanks be to God that they are safe even amidst all this destruction and tragedy.  He appreciated the opportunity to visit with parishioners in the Haviland shelter Sunday afternoon.
