Visión Pastoral del Obispo

Durante su última visita al Vaticano, el Obispo Ronald M. Gilmore compartió que él ve una iglesia que debe hacer una mediante la unidad del Padre, Hijo y Espíritu.
Eso requerirá un esfuerzo más coordinado de unir nuestras mayores comunidades étnicas. El enfoque principal es sanar las divisiones y construir puentes entre los hispanos y los anglos de la comunidad. Nuestro Evangelio nos invita a ser UNO -- uno de corazón, uno de mente. Programas crean oportunidades para que la gente construya relaciones personales y compartan la Palabra sin importar las culturas para apreciar mejor nuestra diversidad. El Obispo Gilmore notó: "El esfuerzo que se necesita es que todos nos permetamos vivir la vida llena no de temor sino de la confianza que viene de Dios invitándonos a todos a la fiesta en una sola mesa como hermanos y hermanas."

Bishop's Pastoral Vision

During his  last visit to the Vatican, Bishop Ronald Gilmore reported that he sees a church that he must make one through the unity of the Father, Son and Spirit.  That will require a more concerted effort in blending our major ethnic communities.  The main focus is to heal divisions and build bridges among the Hispanic and Anglo communities.  Our Gospel invites us to be ONE -- one in heart, one in mind.  Programs create opportunities where people can build relationships and share the Word across cultures in order to better appreciate our diversity. Bishop Gilmore noted, "The concerted effort that is needed is that we allow ourselves to live life filled not with fear but with trust that comes from God inviting us all to feast at the one table as brothers and sisters."

Consejo Pastoral Diocesano Hispano

El Consejo Pastoral Diocesano Hispano fue aprobado en el 2008 por el Obispo Ronald M. Gilmore, Obispo de la Diócesis de Dodge City, como una voz de los líderes laicos hispanos con el fin de aconsejar acerca de programación y dirección para el ministerio hispano. Los miembros, personas muy generosas y dedicadas de la diócesis, son nombrados por el Obispo por un período de dos años y se puede renovar por otro período de dos años.


Hispanic Diocesan Pastoral Council

The Hispanic Diocesan Pastoral Council was approved in 2008 by Bishop Ronald M. Gilmore, Bishop of Dodge City, as a voice of the Hispanic lay leaders to advise on programming and direction for diocesan Hispanic ministry. Members, persons very generous and dedicated of the diocese, are appointed by the Bishop for a term of two years and may be renewed for another term of two years.
