OFFICIAL APPOINTMENTS The Most Rev. Ronald M. Gilmore, bishop of Dodge City, announces the following appointments effective July 8, 2009 unless otherwise noted:- Father John Strasser, recently pastor of Holy Rosary, Medicine Lodge; St. Boniface, Sharon; and St. John, Kiowa as pastor of St. Nicholas, Kinsley, and St. Joseph, Offerle.
- Father Cosmas Nwosuh, MSP, recently interim administrator of St. Nicholas, Kinsley, and St. Joseph, Offerle, as parochial administrator of Holy Rosary, Medicine Lodge; St. Boniface, Sharon; and St. John, Kiowa.
- Father Khoi Nguyen, recently pastor at Mary, Queen of Peace, Ulysses, and St. Bernadette, Johnson, to St. Mary, Garden City.
- Father Trong Tran, recently pastor at St. Mary, Garden City to pastor at Mary, Queen of Peace, Ulysses, and St. Bernadette, Johnson.
- Father Gregory LeBlanc, recently pastor of Sacred Heart, Pratt, and sacramental minister at St. John, St. John, has been granted a leave effective June 16, 2009.
- Father Charles Mazouch, while remaining pastor of St. Joseph, Ellinwood and Immaculate Conception, Claflin, is interim administrator for Sacred Heart, Pratt, effective June 16, 2009, and will be priest supervisor of St. John, St. John, and dean of the Great Bend Deanery effective July 8, 2009.
