Cultures in Transition

April 16, Saturday, 9:30 a.m. – Noon

Instructor: Philip St. Romain D. Min.

Cost: $15

"This mini-workshop will provide a general introduction to Spiral Dynamics, which is a new way of understanding how cultures develop and evolve. The key concept is one of recognizing the value-oriented beliefs that shape cultures and profoundly influence our relationships with one another. We will explore the kinds of beliefs that underpin our own culture, in general, and will examine how these beliefs can enhance or frustrate our ability to understand and relate to other cultures. Implications for our own individual growth will be presented, with time for discussion and reflection."
