Right to Life Kansas Convention, Oct. 9
Right to Life of Kansas, Inc., will host a pro-life convention Oct. 9 in Plainville, Kan.
"Think LIFE … From Conception to Natural Death" is the theme for the day-long event, which will include five speakers from Kansas, and one from Gainesville, Texas.
The event will take place at the high school auditorium, 306 N. Washington. Registration is at 8 a.m., and a banquet is at 7 p.m. A single ticket for the banquet, lunch and sessions is $20. The cost is $35 for couples. The cost for the banquet only is $15; the cost for sessions only is $15.The cost for students to attend the day, including sessions and banquet, is $15.
Make checks payable to Right to Life of Kansas, and send with registration form to RTLK, Inc., P.O. Box 1, Baileyville, Kan. 66404. The deadline for registering for the lunch and banquet is Oct. 2. Tickets for the sessions only will be sold at the door.
Speakers
Father Phil Wolfe currently serves as a chaplain for the Latin Mass communities of the Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas. He will speak on the evolution connection.
Donetta Robben is a pro-life speaker and free-lance writer from Hays. She and her husband, Lester, are coordinators of Rachel’s Vineyard in Western Kansas.
Doctor Ron Ferris is a family practice physician with Holy Family Medical Associates, LLP, in Wichita. He will speak on Chastity and Natural Family Planning.
Hays resident, Eva Gonzalez-Bryant, provides specialized foster care for abused and neglected children. She was one of the founding members of Mary Elizabeth Maternity Home in Hays.
Elmer L. Feldkamp is president of Right To Life of Kansas, and is the co-author of "Human Life Resolution." He also is a lobbyist for Right to Life of Kansas. He resides in Baileyville, Kan.
Edmund Zielunski is an attorney, licensed to practice in New York and Texas. The Gainsville, Tx. resident formerly worked with Life Dynamics in Denton, Tx.
