James H. "Jim" Hern, 70, of St. Boniface Parish, Sharon, died Dec. 11, 2006. He was owner and operator of Sharon Valley Travel Accessories, Jim’s Grocery Store, which later became Hern’s Grocery, and was postmaster, all in Sharon. He was a 3rd Degree Knights of Columbus. Edmund A. Hornung, 92, of St. John the Baptist Parish, Spearville, died Dec. 11, 2006. He was a truck driver for the Wright Co-op for 39 years before retiring in 1981. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II in the European Theatre with the Big Red One.
