Ronald Gregory Maestas, 54, a Holcomb resident who belonged to St. Mary Parish, Garden City, died Nov. 2, 2006. He had been a supervisor for Farmland and Iowa Beef Packing Plant. Survivors include his mother, Eva Montoya Maestas; two sons, Brad and Mickey; a daughter, Nicole Ferguson; two sisters, Debbie and Nancy Mader; and seven grandchildren. Father Carlos Pena presided.

Brenda Estela Ruvalcaba, 4, of St. Mary Parish, Garden City, died Nov. 8, 2006, in Liberal. She was born June 8, 2002, in Garden City, the daughter of Edgar and Jennifer Morales Ruvalcaba. Survivors include her parents; two brothers, Abel and Avein Ortiz; two sisters, Airean Ortiz and Denise Holguin; and her grandfather, Remedios Ruvalcaba. Father Carlos Garcia-Pena presided.

Cecelia R. Blackwell, 85, of Sacred Heart Parish, Larned, died Nov. 9, 2006. She was the former gift shop clerk for the Santa Fe Trail Center, Larned. She was past president of Sacred Heart Altar Society. Survivors include three sons; two daughters; five brothers; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Father Bernard Felix presided.

Reinhold J. "Mac" Suppes, 84, of the Catholic Community of Great Bend, died Nov. 14, 2006. He was a farmer and stockman. He belonged to the Knights of Columbus, Liebenthal. Survivors include three sons, Stephen, David, and Paul; five brothers, Primus, Anton, Julius, Eugene, and Clarence; a sister, Ruth Engel; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Father Reginald A. Urban presided.

Donald George Rose, 70, of St. John the Evangelist Parish, Hoisington, died Nov. 24, 2006. Survivors include two brothers, Raymond H. and Joe M. Rose. Father Pascal Klein presided.

Naomi "Bobby" Ruth Roth, 80, of Fort Dodge, died Nov. 23, 2006. Survivors include two sons, William "Bill" Clarence and Gary Doniphan; a sister, Jeanette Marie Frazon; five grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren. The Rev. Mike Burns and Father Ted Skalsky presided.

Maria Rosalinda Gonzalez, 42, of the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish, Dodge City, died Nov. 16,2006. Survivors include her mother, Maria Irene Barrera Gonzalez; three sons, Andres, Fransico, and Eligio; a daughter, Linda Rosa Gonzalez; two brothers, ]usto Jr. and Abelardo; three sisters, Martina Sandoval, Minerva biaz, and Victorian Gonzalez; and a granddaughter. Father Trong Tran presided.

Baylor Elden James of Dighton was stillborn Nov. 16, 2006. Survivors include his parents, Kerry A. and Kelli M Bastian James; grandparents, Alan and Marilyn James, and Kent and Janie Bastian; and great.grandparents, Bill and Donna McClure. Mary Belle Bastian, Marjory James, and Wilma Heath. Father Warren Stecklein presided.

Paul J. Heit, 90, of St. Nicholas Parish, Kinsley, died Nov. 18, 2006. He was a retired farmer. He is survived by his wife, Mary Marcella Wortmann; three sons, Stephen, Mike, and Jon; three daughters, Stephanie Goscha, Alicia ]ennings, and Melissa Baker; a sister, Mary Werner; 10 grandchildren; and five great.grandchildren. Father Nicanor Ferangco presided.

Alonso F. Trejo, infant, died Nov. 19, 2006. In addition to his parents, he is survived by grandparents, ]ovita Hernandez, Rafael Trejo. and Leonardo and Pajita Quintero, and by his great-grandmother, Gregoria Abunvev. Father Michael McAndrew presided.

Philomena B. Witman, 91, ofSt. Dominic Parish, Garden City, died Nov. 21,2006. She was a member of the Daughters of Isabella. Survivors include three sons, Richard, Walter J., and Ronald D.; two daughters, Evelyn Brungardt and Claudia Cole; three sisters, Veronica Schreibvogel, Lasta Schreibvogel. and Geraldine Steocklein; 18 grandchildren; 32 great.grandchi1dren; and 12 great-great.grandchildren. Father Joseph Bahr presided.

Geraldine Ann Stoecklein, 81, of St. Mary Parish, Garden City, died Nov. 22, 2006. Survivors include four sons, Rodney, Terry, Tracy, and Alan; a daughter, Sandra Stoecklein; two sisters, Lasta Schreibvogel and Veronica Schreibvogel; and eight grandchildren. Father Joseph Bahr presided.

Leonard J. Burgardt, 85, of Timken, died Nov. 22, 2006. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a medic. Survivors include two sons, Harlan and Lennie; a daughter, Judy Thompson; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Father Rene Labrador presided.
