Ronald Gregory Maestas, 54, a Holcomb resident who belonged to St. Mary Parish, Garden City, died Nov. 2, 2006. He had been a supervisor for Farmland and Iowa Beef Packing Plant. Survivors include his mother, Eva Montoya Maestas; two sons, Brad and Mickey; a daughter, Nicole Ferguson; two sisters, Debbie and Nancy Mader; and seven grandchildren. Father Carlos Pena presided.

Brenda Estela Ruvalcaba, 4, of St. Mary Parish, Garden City, died Nov. 8, 2006, in Liberal. She was born June 8, 2002, in Garden City, the daughter of Edgar and Jennifer Morales Ruvalcaba. Survivors include her parents; two brothers, Abel and Avein Ortiz; two sisters, Airean Ortiz and Denise Holguin; and her grandfather, Remedios Ruvalcaba. Father Carlos Garcia-Pena presided.

Cecelia R. Blackwell, 85, of Sacred Heart Parish, Larned, died Nov. 9, 2006. She was the former gift shop clerk for the Santa Fe Trail Center, Larned. She was past president of Sacred Heart Altar Society. Survivors include three sons; two daughters; five brothers; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Father Bernard Felix presided.

Reinhold J. "Mac" Suppes, 84, of the Catholic Community of Great Bend, died Nov. 14, 2006. He was a farmer and stockman. He belonged to the Knights of Columbus, Liebenthal. Survivors include three sons, Stephen, David, and Paul; five brothers, Primus, Anton, Julius, Eugene, and Clarence; a sister, Ruth Engel; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Maria Rosalinda Gonzalez, 42, of the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish, Dodge City, died Nov. 16,2006.
