Vocations Fair, Feb. 26, Great Bend
The Vocations Commission of the Great Bend Catholic Community will be hosting a "Celebrate Your Call at Mardi Gras" Vocation Fair, on Sunday, Feb. 26, 11 a.m.-3 p.m. at St. Rose Auditorium, 1412 Baker, Great Bend. The day will provide information about the areas where people are actively sharing their gifts. The day will encourage many others to recognize the call that God has for them and will invite them to become involved in a number of ways throughout the communities. Events will include a presentation, blood drive and a variety of booths displaying the activities of many community services agencies and organizations.

"The workshop is designed to be participatory and will: examine loss, grief as major components of life experience; discuss the multifaceted nature to grief; factors affecting the process of mourning; and present several different models for the work of mourning.
"This workshop is ideal for people who are grieving and those who support and minister to them. Ann Showalter M. DIV. earned her M. Div. from Bethany Theological Seminary in Oak Brook IL. She has served as a pastor and ministered in health care, bereavement support groups and education workshops."
