GREAT BEND -- "Dan, Dan, The Magic Man" entertained students at Holy
Family School in Great Bend. Dan Heath, a recent convert to Catholicism,
uses magic tricks to entertain and to teach Gospel messages. "If you see
someone that needs to be made whole, you have to help them," he said as a
cut piece of rope magically was made whole again. The magic show was part
of Catholic Schools Week. At bottom left, after the magic show, students
placed pennies in a collection that will benefit the school, and will help
an all girls Catholic school in Mississippi that has been "adopted" by
Holy Family School.
