Students at St. Dominic School in Garden City spent some time during Catholic Schools Week preparing gifts for seniors at Garden Valley Retirement Home. Designed both to warm their hearts and their bodies, several quilts were pieced together by each class at the school. The younger students, such as the morning kindergarten class (above, right) made Valentine cards. The cards and the blankets were presented to the seniors on Feb. 2.
