St. Nicholas School draws huge crowd for chili supper fundraiser |

The St. Nicholas School annual chili supper and auction drew huge support from a community bent on helping support the school throughout the year. Approximately 500 people attended the event, which brought in nearly $12,000. A baseball signed by pro-player Russ Ortiz was auctioned off for $500. The baseball items brought in several hundred dollars for the school. At top left, St. Nicholas seventh grader Shena Stoddard stands behind items contributed by her cousin, Arizona Diamondback Russ Ortiz, that were auctioned off at the fundraiser.
