The St. Nicholas School annual chili supper and
auction drew huge support from a community bent on helping support the
school throughout the year.
Approximately 500 people attended the event, which brought in nearly
$12,000. A baseball signed by pro-player Russ Ortiz was auctioned off for
$500. The baseball items brought in several hundred dollars for the
school.
