Father Joseph Bahr holds newly baptized Pake Dewey, son of Jeff and
Melissa Dewey of Cimarron. Melissa snapped this picture following the
candlelight baptism, celebrated during a power outage. The Deweys were
driving to St. Stanislaus Church in Ingalls to celebrate the Baptism, when
an accident occurred about one mile ahead of them, knocking out power to the
area. The baptism was conducted amid candlelight (with a little help from a
few flashlights). "The Mass was actually beautiful and Father Bahr did such a wonderful service for us, honoring Pake in the darkness," Melissa Dewey said. "This picture of our son Pake and Fathe rBahr is just priceless to us, and it shows just how genuine and kind Father Bahr is. We are so lucky to have him at our parish."
