| Local artist donates sculpture for Cathedral School auction | ||

This
wine bottle holder is one of the many items in the Sacred Heart Cathedral
School Auction scheduled for Jan. 31 at the Knights of Columbus Hall in
Dodge City. This original sculpture, created by Lowell Tasset, features the
same grapes, leaves and vine that make up the design of the door handles at
the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe. It was fashioned from forged iron
originally used in farm machinery.
