Official Appointment
The Most Reverend Ronald M. Gilmore, Bishop of Dodge City, announces the following assignments that became effective July 1, 2004:
Father David H. Kraus, formerly pastor of St. Joseph, Scott City, and St. Theresa, Dighton, is granted retirement due to medical concerns. He will reside at his personal residence in Ransom.
Father Warren Stecklein, previously scheduled to become pastor of the parishes in Spearville, Hanston and Jetmore, is now appointed pastor of St. Joseph, Scott City, and St. Theresa, Dighton.
Father Robert Schremmer, continuing as vicar general and pastor of St. Andrew, Wright, is appointed parochial administrator of St. John the Baptist, Spearville, St. Anthony, Hanston and St. Lawrence, Jetmore. He will be assisted with sacramental ministry in these parishes by Father Ted Skalsky, Msgr. Brian Moore, Father Wesley Schawe and Father Henry Hildebrandt.
