St. Alphonsus Vacation Bible School

SATANTA -- St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Satanta held its annual Vacation Bible School on June 13-17. The program, titled "Kingdom of the Son," focused on the Lord’s Prayer.

Attendance for the week was approximately 50 children per night, including Thursday night, which was cut short due to a tornado warning.

Children sang songs, made crafts, and learned a lesson each night, followed by snack time.

Kids age three through the sixth grade also presented a program on Friday for all parents and parishioners, which began with a Mass and ended with a barbecue provided by the Knights of Columbus.

This is the third year that St. Alphonsus has held a vacation Bible school, which have grown each year.
