Antonia Esparza, 63, of Mary Queen of Peace Parish, Ulysses, died June 8, 2006. Survivors include her husband, Rodolfo Esparza; two daughters, Aurora Nunes and Adela Esparza; five brothers, Guadalupe Jimenez Fierro, Antonio Jimenez Fierro, Ramon Jimenez, Rosario Jimenez, and Jose Jimenez; seven sisters, Victoriana Arogon, Catalina Jimenez Fierro, Juan Jimenez Fierro, Socorro Garcia, Rosa Jimenez, Rosolia Pando, and Angelina Corrales; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Frank Petz, 93, of St. Joseph Parish, Ellinwood, died June 11, 2006. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II, serving with the 119th Infantry in the European Theatre. Survivors include two sons, Cleo and Mike; a daughter, Janet Maneth; a stepson, Jerry Hickel; a stepdaughter, Patty Green; two brothers, Ray and Bob; a sister, Lorraine Petz; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and four step-great-grandchildren. Wilma J. Warkentin, 75, of the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Dodge City, died June 10, 2006. Survivors include a son, Kevin; three daughters, Cynthia Manley, Cecelia Guajardo, and Sherry Bogner; four sisters, Edith Hall, Doris Gardner, Mary Hager, and Charlene Ward; 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Clayton Glenn Vath, one month, a Cimarron resident who attended St. Stanislaus Parish, Ingalls, died June 12, 2006. He was born May 12, 2006, in Garden City, the son of Andrew G. and Jaclyn M. Gross Vath. Survivors include his parents; grandparents, Robert and Jane Vath, and Art and Dorothy Gross; and great-grandmothers, Edna Golemboski and Josie Gross. Father Joseph Bahr presided. Mathilda A. "Tillie" Meyeres Luerman, 100, of St. Patrick Parish, Great Bend, died June 12, 2006. She was a member of the Altar Society. Marvin Lamatch, 62, a Claflin resident of Holy Family Parish, Odin, died June 14, 2006. He was a fourth degree member of the Odin Knights of Columbus Council No. 2630. He also served in the Army National Guard. He is survived by his wife, Carol Hipp; five sons, David, Greg, John Paul, Robert, and Matt; four daughters, Kathy Vopat, Patti Lane, Debbie Schindler, and Vicki Manke; three sisters, Lou Ann Morgenstern, Doris Ross, and Mary Davenport; and 17 grandchildren.
