Unlocking the Da Vinci Code

Apr. 21

"Was Jesus really married to Mary Magdalene? Did the early church authorities suppress the real truth about Jesus? Is the New Testament a reliable guide to early Christian beliefs and practices? These and many other questions are raised by Dan Brown in his best selling novel, The Da Vinci Code. Although presented as a work of fiction, Brown strongly suggests that his story is based on events that imply a fraudulent nature to Christianity. This lecture will examine some of Brown’s points and offer responses."

Ordinary Miracles: An Invitation to Wonder
