New 'Faith and Light' Community

God's 'special people,' their family and friends, celebrate first monthly gathering

Deacon Dwaine Lampe of Spearville and his grandson, Trevor, lead a procession at the first gathering of the Our Lady of Guadalupe Faith and Light Community Feb. 17 at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Dodge City. Faith and Light is a world-wide organization formed in 1971 to bring together people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, their families, and friends. The group will meet at the cathedral the third Sunday of each month.
