New 'Faith and Light'
Community
God's
'special people,' their family and friends, celebrate first
monthly gathering
Deacon Dwaine Lampe of Spearville and his
grandson, Trevor, lead a procession at the first gathering of
the Our Lady of Guadalupe Faith and Light Community Feb. 17 at
the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Dodge City. Faith and
Light is a world-wide organization formed in 1971 to bring
together people with intellectual and developmental
disabilities, their families, and friends. The group will meet
at the cathedral the third Sunday of each month.
