There will be a Youth Mass celebrated at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Dodge City at 5 p.m. Sunday, March 28. All youth are encouraged to attend.

As 8-12th graders again gather for this annual rally at the Dodge City Middle School, you are invited to join with other youth from the diocese and to celebrate your faith, your many gifts and talents with one another. Not only will you give many wonderful things to others with your presence, you too will receive as much in return.

Youth will be given the chance to go out into the community, helping at the Salvation Army, at the Red Cross serving a meal to the needy, repairing homes, visiting the elderly in nursing homes and speaking with people in the community.

Mark your calendars. This year’s summer camp at Camp Lakeside will take place June 1 – 4 for all 5-6th graders, and June 21-24 for 7-8th graders.

The four days of camp will include canoeing, hiking, swimming, horseback riding, and many other activities. Let this be a time when you not only learn more about your Catholic Faith, but also learn more about yourself and the wonderful relationship you have with God.

This year’s TEC weekends will take place July 10-12 and Nov. 6-8, and are open to juniors, seniors or young adults. TEC takes a person on a three-day experience of fun, laughter, games and prayer, to a closer encounter with Christ. It provides you with a unique opportunity to deepen your relationship with Christ, your friends and yourself. It is a marvelous opportunity to find yourself wrapped up in an entirely new perspective on life and all that it offers.
