 On May 19, students from the seventh grade class at Sacred Heart Cathedral School in Dodge City paraded from the school to Manna House carrying armfuls of boxes brimming with food. Manna House offers food, clothing and shelter to families and individuals in transition. The entire school collected the items, and the seventh graders, led by teacher Alan Burcher, carried them to Manna House, a block away. Burcher said the twice-yearly event teaches the children about helping those in need.
