Maurice F. Gleason, 81, of St. Nicholas Parish, Kinsley, died April 9, 2006. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, and a former chairman of the Diocesan Development Program. Edward J. "Eddie" Reimer, 71, of St. Dominic Parish, Garden City, died May 7, 2006. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He is survived by his wife, Grace N. Ignatius C. "Eno" Amerin, Jr., 64, previously of St. Patrick Parish, Plains, died May 7, 2006. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving during the Vietnam Era. Warren "Dutch" Pitts, 85, of St. Lawrence Parish, Jetmore, died May 9, 2006. He was a World War II veteran. Hope Schmidt, 32, of St. John the Apostle Parish, Kiowa, died May 13, 2006. Margaret Jane "Janie" Stein, 90, of the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish, Dodge City, and formerly of Ashland, died May 15, 2006. Edward Joe "Ed" Jecha, 80, of Holy Trinity Parish, Timken. He was a member of Knights of Columbus Council No. 2100. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He is survived by his wife, Rosarie (Baxa); two sons, Thomas E. and Edward F.; five daughters, Cecilia J. May, Margaret M. Waterman, Mary E. Casselman, Rita J. Andress, and Jane M.
