Christian rock bands coming to Dodge City
NEW YORK -- The Christian rock band Kutless, as well as Toby Mac, Audio Adrenaline and Hawk Nelson, will be performing at the Dodge City Civic Center at 7 p.m., May 15.
Tickets are $20 each, or for groups of 10 or more, $17 each. For more ticket information, call (620) 873-2991.
With their latest release, Strong Tower, Christian rock group, Kutless departs from the expected, seeking to reinvent their favorite worship songs with a fresh, modern sound reminiscent of bands, Delirious and Sonicflood from nearly a decade ago.
For the Diverse City tour, Kutless gets back to their roots as an alternative college praise and worship band, giving them a chance to share, with their edgier power-ballad sound, praise and worship songs that have inspired them.
The band recently took to the road March 25, armed with some of the members’ personally moving favorites as well as some more nationally familiar songs ("Draw Me Close," "Take Me In," "Better is One Day"). The Diverse City tour will put Kutless in 28 cities where they will share music from their new album, Strong Tower.
