Ordination Mass seeking musicians

Individuals with musical ability, including the ability to sing or play an instrument, are invited to take part in the liturgy at the ordination of Wesley Schawe and Trong Tran May 22 at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Rachel’s Vineyard spring retreat

Rachel’s Vineyard Ministry announces their spring retreat May 14-16. The location of the retreat is kept private to protect the confidentiality of the retreatants. The retreat is designed for women who have had abortions, men, grandparents, aunts, uncles, siblings, married couples -- anyone affected by the loss of abortion. The weekend meshes religion and psychology into an intense, emotional, supportive and non-judgmental process. Farewell program for Sacred Heart School

Sacred Heart Grade School in Larned, founded in 1936, will be closing its doors after this school year. To commemorate the event, there will be an assembly at the Sacred Heart School Auditorium in Larned on Saturday, June 5 at 6:30 p.m. to celebrate the history and achievements of Sacred Heart School and to mark its closing. A picnic dinner will be served. All alumni, students, and faculty, past and present, and Sacred Heart parishioners, are invited to attend.All Sacred Heart parishioners, alumni, and faculty are encouraged to contact and notify former Sacred Heart students and faculty members of this upcoming event.
