Human trafficking is a modern-day form of slavery. People who are seeking entry to other countries may be picked up by traffickers, and typically misled into thinking that they will be free after being smuggled across the border. Victims of human trafficking are subjected to force, fraud, or coercion, for the purpose of sexual exploitation or forced labor. Sister Jolene Geier, OP is the current Justice Promoter for her congregation and will be the presenter.
