CGS gathering for any current CGS catechists or those interested in CGS for their parish. The purpose of these meetings is to develop a unified support network as we work to implement this form of Catechesis across the Diocese of Dodge City, build relationships, gather resources, and bounce ideas off of each other.

Formation in our diocese

Level 1 Formation

Sacred Heart of Jesus, Larned

Part 1: July 27 - August 1, 2026

Part 2: June 7 - 12, 2027

Monday - Saturday, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Breakfast begins at 8:30 a.m.

$525 registration fee includes tuition for parts 1 and 2, books, and 2 daily meals

Formation outside of our diocese

Scholarships and Materials Funding

Active members of a parish in the diocese of Dodge City may apply for a formation scholarship. Scholarship money may be used to help with tuition, books, travel, lodging, and/or babysitting. The Spring deadline is April 6th.

Parishes may apply for funding for materials needed in the atrium. Money may be used for maintenance, artwork, or for building a new atrium. You may apply for reimbursement or provide an estimate of future expenses. The Spring deadline is April 6th.
