"St. Joseph School was founded in 1885 by German immigrants. Rooted in the teachings of Jesus, students are nurtured to develop a love for others as well as themselves, all along striving towards high academic achievement. St. Joseph faculty has high expectations for all students, giving encouragement and support throughout their learning and development. We feature extracurricular activities such as the Grandfriend Program, Read to the Elderly Across Town, Christmas caroling, craft projects for shut-ins, speech competition, and music and sports programs. More importantly, we include daily classroom prayer and twice-weekly students' Masses all of which help form a well-rounded student. St. Joseph School boasts a legacy of high academic achievement with a focus on God. St. Joseph School is fully accredited by the Kansas State Board of Education through the Kansas Quality Performance Accreditation process."
