Monthly Notes from Bishop Brungardt
and the Diocesan Staff
February 2019

From Most Rev. John B. Brungardt, Bishop of Dodge City
Please note: there is an email scam going around that appears to be from Bishop Brungardt asking for your help and requesting the purchase of a gift card in various amounts. Please do not respond to this email. If the address is not from the diocese server, right click and delete the email. Please mark your calendars for the Spring Assembly to be held at the Spiritual Life Center in Wichita on Tuesday, April 30 through May 2nd.
Friday, May 3 at 1pm at the Hilton Garden Inn Ballroom, 410 S 3rd, Manhattan, KS, abortion survivor, Melissa Ohden, will be appearing during the Kansas State Knights of Columbus Convention, to tell her story of surviving a failed saline infusion abortion in 1977. Despite the initial concerns regarding Melissa's future after surviving the attempt to end her life at approximately seven months gestation, she has not only survived but thrived. Fulfilling the purpose that she believes God set out for her when He saved her from the certain death of the abortion attempt, Melissa is truly a voice for the voiceless. She is the Founder and Director of The Abortion Survivors Network and author of You Carried Me: A Daughter's Memoir. This truly inspirational presentation is free and open to the public.
