So Jesus said again [...] "I came so that they may have life, and have it to the full."

The Holy Bible is not a list of oppressive rules. Instead, it leads us to a life of true freedom, lived in and through the Lord:

"So whoever is in Christ is a new creation: the old things have passed away; behold, new things have come." (2 Corinthians 5:17)

"You have no idea what your life will be like tomorrow. You are a puff of smoke that appears briefly and then disappears." (James 4:14)

"A thief comes only to steal and slaughter and destroy; I came so that they might have life and have it more abundantly." (John 10:10)

"Jesus answered and said to him, “Whoever loves me will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our dwelling with him." (John 14:23)

"Do not let this book of the law depart from your lips. Recite it by day and by night, that you may carefully observe all that is written in it; then you will attain your goal; then you will succeed." (Joshua 1:8)

"He summoned the crowd with his disciples and said* to them, “Whoever wishes to come after me must deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me. For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake and that of the gospel will save it." (Mark 8:34–35)

"You will show me the path to life, abounding joy in your presence, the delights at your right hand forever." (Psalm 16:11)

"The LORD is my shepherd; there is nothing I lack." (Psalm 23:1)
