Below is a list of Called and Gifted Participants from the Diocese of Dodge City
Called and Gifted is a diocesan initiative to help men and women throughout the diocese discern the gifts of the Holy Spirit (charisms) develop those gifts, and then use those gifts for the service of God in and/or outside the parish.
The Called and Gifted process begins with a Called & Gifted workshop in which people are presented with the idea of charism and are led through an inventory that helps identify one’s charism.
The workshop leads into further discernment with a one-on-one interview, small group sharing, and/or work on one’s own.
During the Called and Gifted Workshop, the presenters share stories on the lives of Saints. Hearing the stories of the saints gives one an appreciation of their lives, but it also helps the participants know that it is okay that their story does not need to match the saints’ story to be holy. God calls and gifts each of us with our unique charisms.
