We dedicated the new Sacred Heart Cathedral Catholic School and Faith Formation Building on the Solemnity of the Assumption of Mary into Heaven. We thank the many people who generously and sacrificially made this new building possible, with their prayers, time, abilities, charisms, and almsgiving. Father Wesley Schawe and his staff, committee members, parishioners and alumni (past and present), architects, construction workers and others. bore fruit that will serve our children, youth and adults for generations. Thanks be to God! The previous school on Central assisted our faith formation for well over 100 years; we pray that this new building will help for the next hundred years and beyond. Another reason to be thankful: Please participate in the 75th Anniversary of the Catholic Diocese of Dodge City celebration on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at the Cathedral (see flyers and articles in this issue). God has blessed us with our diocesan church, to assist our parishes, schools, other ministries, families and individuals in 28 counties in southwest Kansas. Thanks be to God, who loves us more than we can ask or imagine!

Dedicamos el nuevo edificio de la Escuela Católica y de Formación en la Fe de la Catedral del Sagrado Corazón en la Solemnidad de la Asunción de María al Cielo. Agradecemos a las muchas personas que, con generosidad y espíritu de sacrificio, hicieron posible este nuevo edificio mediante sus oraciones, tiempo, habilidades, carismas y limosnas. El padre Wesley Schawe y su equipo, los miembros del comité, los feligreses y exalumnos (tanto antiguos como actuales), los arquitectos, los trabajadores de la construcción y otras personas han dado frutos que servirán a nuestros niños, jóvenes y adultos durante generaciones. ¡Gracias a Dios!
